Frontier Church is a Christ-centered community devoted to Jesus alone. We are a Word-rooted, Spirit-filled family passionate about worship, prayer, and living out the gospel with authenticity and love.
We believe the Church is meant to be a family—formed by Scripture, alive in the presence of God, and sent to serve our city and beyond. At Frontier, every believer is called, equipped, and invited to walk closely with Jesus and live on mission together.
Nate and Kristen Middleton have been together since they were 16 years old and were married at 20. They have been married for 16 years and are the proud parents of three beautiful children—Silas, Blakely, and Tynley. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a Registered Dental Hygienist. Nate earned a degree in nursing in Cape Girardeau and has served as an emergency/trauma nurse, fixed-wing flight nurse, and clinical liaison. In 2022, Nate and Kristen planted Frontier Church and have watched God faithfully grow the church and lead it through multiple seasons and locations. They are deeply Jesus-centered people who often laugh in awe at God’s goodness and His grace in calling them into this journey. Without a traditional church background or mindset, they are simply two people whose hearts were captured by Jesus at a young age—and who continue to say yes to Him.
